CA LA NURIA

CA LA NURIA

A plot in the Maresme takes us on the search for a Mediterranean experience, which will materialize through the geometry of the volumes and local materials that are typical in popular Mediterranean architecture. The two generated volumes will divide the functional program, while the geometry itself will form shadowed areas and will establish relations  with the exterior. The house is planned on a single floor, linking all spaces with the exterior and making interior tours more comfortable. On the ground floor, the garage is placed, as well as facility areas and a small workshop. To the north-west end is the night area with the rooms and bathrooms, while facing south-east and overlooking the sea will be the day area, consisting of a closed box with the kitchen, a pantry and a bathroom, and the living-dining room space where the limit with the exterior is blurred giving continuity to it. The different garden areas dialogue with the interior in a way that both serves it and complements it.
